This privacy policy applies to the Sapès app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by garam (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a service with free and optional paid features. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application stores information that you choose to add while using it, including clothing photos, cutout images, thumbnails, item names, brands, prices, sellers, source URLs, categories, notes, try-on results, and an optional full-body photo used for virtual try-on. This information is used to provide the Application's closet, search, sharing, synchronization, and virtual try-on features.

When you share a shopping link with the Application, the Application may request the linked page, read product metadata such as title, image, price, seller, and canonical URL, and save the selected result to your closet.

The Application uses a Firebase-generated anonymous identifier to apply free try-on usage and to associate a subscription with the Application. To verify a subscription, the Application sends Apple-signed StoreKit transaction information to our server. We use the transaction identifiers, product identifier, purchase environment, expiry status, and subscription status to verify entitlement and enforce usage limits. We do not receive or store your Apple Account password, full payment card number, or other payment credentials; Apple processes payments.

When you request a virtual try-on, your selected full-body photo and clothing image are sent to our secure server and to Google Gemini for processing. The generated result is temporarily held in private cloud storage for up to 24 hours so the Application can retrieve it. Operational records about a try-on request, including its status, time, usage decision, and a pseudonymous identifier, may be retained for up to 90 days to operate the service, prevent abuse, resolve usage disputes, and maintain security. You can delete locally saved try-on results in the Application.

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Application may request access to the camera and photo library so you can capture clothing photos, import images, choose a full-body photo, and save generated try-on results. Photos are used only for the features you initiate.

The Service Provider may share information with third-party services only as needed to operate the Application. The Application may use Apple's iCloud/CloudKit to sync your saved closet data across your devices and Apple StoreKit to process and verify subscriptions. The Application may use Google Gemini API to classify clothing images or generate virtual try-on images; for virtual try-on, your full-body photo and selected clothing image are sent to the service for processing. The Application may use Firebase Authentication, App Check, Analytics, Remote Config, and Crashlytics to authenticate requests, protect the service, understand feature usage, configure features, and diagnose crashes.

Analytics events are intended to describe app usage and technical performance, such as screen views, item counts, feature outcomes, categories, and crash diagnostics. The Service Provider does not sell your personal information.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may also use device settings to revoke camera, photo library, iCloud, or analytics-related permissions where available. Data stored in iCloud may also be managed through your Apple ID and iCloud settings.

The Application retains user-provided closet data for as long as you keep it in the Application or in your synced iCloud account. You may delete saved items, try-on results, or your full-body photo in the Application where those controls are provided. Uninstalling the Application may remove local data from the device, but synced data may remain in iCloud according to Apple's storage behavior. The separate temporary processing and operational record retention periods for virtual try-on are described above.

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourages parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (studio@gar.am) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet, device storage, cloud synchronization, or electronic storage is 100% secure, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-07-11

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by the Service Provider.
